Markets in the sunshine
This is your last chance to swan around the stalls

On Sunday the markets leave King Street, St Ann’s Square and Exchange Square. Boo hoo. We love the things. As Schofield wrote in his piece on St Ann’s Market (click here), they liven up the whole city, give the place a big retail blast, a dash of colour and some excellent food and gifts.
So to mark the Spring Markets passing we’ve done them a little gallery of images. A postcard from Confidential.
We’ve had hydrangeas, bunting, Ploughman’s lunches, ales, lagers, wines, photography, hand crafted baskets, handmade textiles, barbeques, game pie, chorizo sausage, paella, fresh curries, Dutch waffles, pancakes, olives, herbs and garden furniture. There’s even been live entertainment.
But remember you’ve still got until Sunday to drift around the city browsing the markets. If it’s lovely weather then what could be better than a bit of outdoor comfort spending?
