Location

The market is held at New Smithfield Wholesale Market, which is located two miles east of the city centre on Ashton Old Road (A635) in Openshaw.

The market is easy to find and has excellent transport links to all major roads and motorways.

Opening times

The event takes place every Sunday with the opening hours for traders being 6am until 2pm, and the opening hours for customers being 7am until 2pm.

Do you want to sell in the Sunday market & carboot?

If you want to sell your wares at the market, it couldn't be easier. All you need to do is turn up at the market with your goods and your trading equipment (stall, table, rails, etc). There is no need to book in advance unless you want to trade reglularly from the same pitch, in which case you will need to complete an application form click here

Vacant spaces are allocated from 6.00am on a first-come, first-served basis. Trading is from 7:00am to 2.00pm. Trading spaces are wide enough to fit a van, and you will be charged for every trading space you use (including where you only use part of a space).
