Launching on 12 June 2010 with a special two-day event to coincide with the annual Didsbury Festival, Didsbury Food Market is a welcome addition to this area of Manchester.

The market will set up on the 2nd Saturday of every month outside the library and provide locals and visitors with a refreshing shopping alternative.

Stallholders, many of them well known on the Manchester Markets circuit, will be trading with a delectable selection of foodie produce, including: locally farmed meat from Savin Hill Farm (http://www.savin-hill.co.uk)  (a regular at the city centre’s specialist markets); delicious home made, traditional fudge from Duerden’s; and the cutest cupcakes in Manchester from And the Dish Ran Away with the Spoon (http://www.dishandspoonfood.co.uk

Other stalls will be selling top quality produce from fresh fish, poultry and game to freshly baked bread, roasted coffee beans, real dairy ice-cream and all manner of jarred preserves.
